January 24 – 26 will see daytime activities at Pier 36, such as breed judging and preliminary rounds for the Junior Showmanship and the Master’s Obedience Championship. The Best in Show competition, the seven category judging sessions, and the Junior Showmanship finals will all happen in the evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday at Madison Square Garden. But according to Gail Miller Bisher, director of communications for The Westminster Kennel Club, “we are happy to invite spectators back to Madison Square Garden” for the evening group judging and Best in Show. The conformation, agility, obedience, and junior showmanship contests of the WKC will take place in New York City, and about 3,000 champion dogs and their owners are anticipated.
