So Shape Reviews: As I’ve previously indicated, I’m a touch on the large side. Neither ‘cheery’ nor ‘cuddly’, nor ‘plump’. Just a little too much weight. My secret hope is that there is a miracle diet tool out there that can help us lose weight quickly, just like many others. In a perfect world, we wouldn’t even have to Consume dust. Earlier this year, I tried the So Shape 14-day challenge to see whether it may help me lose weight.
*I should add that I didn’t anticipate this to be a miraculous diet; I know there isn’t such a thing. * Regardless of whether it was the heat or lack of energy from the shakes, I found myself feeling annoyed and fatigued. After a night out on the town on Friday, I drank more gin than I should have, which didn’t assist my cause. I recovered a pound at the end of the 14-day period.
What is the name of this product?
So Shape was developed in France and consists of a variety of Smart Meals that are both vegetarian and gluten-free, with the exception of pasta meals. A few Smart Meals are savory, such as soups and pasta, but the majority of the meals are sweet shakes. When you’re following the plan, Shape also offers a number of Smart Food options like pancake mix and granola in order to keep you on track. When it comes to the shape of things, there are a number of ways to go about it. Truthfully, I have no idea how this works, but the heading seemed interesting to me.
With So Shape, you can select a 5-day ‘Reboot,’ 14-day ‘Remove,’ or 28-day ‘Reborn’ challenge to get started. Breakfast and tea are Smart Meals, while lunch is a ‘rule-free’ meal (not a kebab, certainly) (not a kebab, obviously). The list of free snacks includes stuff like chicken, tuna, green salad, and cucumber, but you can also buy more Smart Foods to augment your diet. Fruit, on the other hand, is a definite no-no.
Do you want to know how I did on “So Shape”?
In preparation for my vacation, I chose to do the 14-day challenge (30 Smart Meals and a shaker) (30 Smart Meals and a shaker). After getting the box, I was astonished to see that the shakes were packaged in triangle pouches and shipped in plastic trays. It’s lovely, there’s no doubting that, but I’m intrigued whether there’s a way to ship it with less packaging.
In other words, Shape Shakes.
It’s a fantastic day to start a diet on a Monday, so I chose a Coco Choco to shake as my first meal. The shakes should be made with extremely cold water, perhaps from the fridge, according to the instructions in the handbook. I can attest to the importance of this. My first effort at a shake was a complete failure, and I blame it on the cold tap water. With ice-cold water in the fridge, I now always have water on hand to make the second shake. On the second day, I decided to spice things up a bit and make a Smart Meal of Pasta Arrabbiata.
Shape Your Meal Using Pasta
As a matter of fact, it was just horrible. I couldn’t eat it, and there was nothing I could do to make it better. It was clumpy and tasted like baby food, which didn’t help matters. After that, I vowed to consume only shakes going ahead. It wasn’t difficult for me to abstain from between-meal nibbling, and I genuinely looked forward to my morning shake or afternoon tea. After five days of the challenge, I lost 6 pounds and felt proud of myself. My issues began in the second week. When I could, I stayed on track with the challenge, but I did err a few times.
If you ask me, “Would I recommend So Shape?”
Yes, in a nutshell. Another way to express it is this: Instead of integrating spaghetti into your diet, stick to the shakes. Despite the fact that it’s not a long-term solution, it has helped me limit snacking. It’s fantastic if you’re trying to shed pounds before a vacation or something like that, and I plan on doing it again five days before our wedding celebration. It’s not cheap; the 14-day challenge costs £2.96 each meal at the time of writing, which is much pricier than many other meal replacement shakes available at a supermarket, but they have far more flavors to select from than those others.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Lemon Cheesecake Swirl, and Cappuccino are a few of my favorites. The strawberry tart tasted fake to me. Even if you’re a frequent exerciser, this might not be the task for you. The booklet advocates doing just modest cardiovascular exercise, such as jogging, which makes great sense. Unfortunately for me and my sprained hip, this was not an issue. The So Shape Diet is a weight loss regimen that has its genesis in the country of France. That’s why all of the program’s items are imaginative, easy to produce, and delicious, as well as a diversity of flavors and textures. I adore all the flavors of the So Shape dishes, and I use them to replace at least one of my meals. So Shape’s meals are so full that I no longer need to eat additional meals or snacks.
For many of us, dieting is a deeply personal experience. As a result, each person’s weight-loss and weight-maintenance techniques are unique. As a result, not all weight-loss programs are successful, and not all diet meals are wholesome enough. Because I’ve tried a lot of diets and weight-loss regimens that either didn’t work or didn’t work at all, I’m hesitant to offer one to you on this blog. There is one diet challenge, though, that seems to be working for me right now, and it truly astonished me.
As a result, a weight-loss diet should be shaped
Unlike the shakes, the So Shape dishes come in the same packaging as the shakes, but instead of holding the powdered shake tastes, the So Shape dishes have a powder mixture or flavor of the food in its place. A different bag of pasta, such as macaroni, matches each dish sachet. Just like the shakes, the preparation for the dishes is likewise fairly easy. Just add 4-5 oz of water to the pasta (use the shaker as a measuring cup), heat it using a microwave or a pot, and then add the dish sachet.
To prepare fusilli and arrabbiata, create the dish as follows:
In order to complete the So Shape challenge, you must follow the instructions provided in the booklet. Keep hydrated, allow yourself one free meal a day, consume lean protein and plenty of veggies while on the program, and strive to remain with the diet for the following three days to become used to it, these are just a few of the ideas that are offered.
The program’s precepts or guidance are what I love most about it. So Shape allows you to diet, but they are flexible in terms of what you may consume outside of the regimen. (https://onco.com) For me, eating and exercise have been incredibly helpful when I followed the recommendations of the program’s dietitians and ate the high-protein smoothies and meals they advised in reasonable portions.
In summation
I had a lot of fun with this challenge and lost 5 pounds, but it could have been much better if I had a better second week. While not long-term, it’s perfect for a quick pick-me-up. Is a little pricey, but not as pricey as other meal replacement items you can buy at the supermarket, and it has a wider selection of flavors.
