Runs, batting average, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage are all tops for Boston. The American League has three players in the top 10 in wRC+ and wOBA. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Martinez is a contender for the MVP award this season. Ten home runs and 31 RBI put him at a.333 batting average with 10 home runs.
