Oxbox Hvac Reviews: Sources at Trane said Oxbox, a high-quality, economical HVAC brand, allows customers to update their homes with more cost-effective and sustainable equipment, such as air conditioners and furnaces, heat pumps, and air handlers. Oxbox has been Sponsored by Trane since 2019. According to sources, property managers will be able to supply existing inhabitants with comfortable living circumstances while also tempting new tenants by installing Oxbox in multi-family scenarios.
A recent chat between Contracting Business and Oxbox HVAC’s general manager Bryan Davenport found some intriguing insights regarding the history of Oxbox and the company’s relationship with Trane. An HVAC contractor-focused product, Davenport stated as the goal. Aiming to gain a larger portion of the value market, Trane Technologies released Oxbox in 2019. However, we are aware that a big section of the market is being handled by numerous distribution techniques. As a result, we established Oxbox to build a new distribution channel, one that is oriented on a value distribution model and a value contractor audience.”
As a result, Trane relies on a variety of different global manufacturers to create the units, all of whom are supported by Trane Technologies and the Oxbox brand. Customers enjoy the design of Oxbox, and the simplicity of our warranty has resonated with our customers. As a firm in the value area, we know that product registrations may be cumbersome, and we’ve eliminated that with Oxbox. For the length of the warranty, our coverage is restricted to the property itself, not the owner. As a result, contractors don’t have to take on the burden of registering, which many do for such properties,” Davenport added.
Distribution began in the Southeast United States
Davenport feels that there is value in the Trane endorsement, the guarantee, the simplicity; and the ‘affordable quality theme have resonated with our distribution channel,” Davenport said in an interview. Distribution began in the Southeast United States but has now extended to encompass brick-and-mortar retailers and a wide range of internet platforms across North America. be around the corner at some point in the future, but for the time being, the focus is on the market, contractors, and customers.
To begin with, we intended to have a product portfolio that covered 80 percent of the replacement market. However, we shall not be constrained in this way. The channel and our customers’ needs will continue to be at the forefront of our thinking, and we’ll do everything we can to meet those demands. Refrigeration and energy efficiency are on our radar. Ingersoll-Rand has added the OxboxTM line of heating and air-conditioning products to its product portfolio. A new line of cost-effective, long-lasting HVAC equipment for the North American replacement and new-home construction markets for single- and multifamily dwellings.
Trane has authorized a new brand, Oxbox, that provides options for clients looking for low-cost heating and cooling. Among Oxbox’s offerings are air conditioners and heat pumps, as well as air handlers and coils, packaged units, and furnaces. Oxbox general manager Bryan Davenport says, “Our customers have been looking for additional economical options for HVAC equipment that satisfies Trane brand accreditation for quality and endurance.” ‘We believe Oxbox will meet the needs of these price-conscious customers,’ says the company. As Davenport explained, they are still in the planning stages and will be revealed as the project progresses.
Behind the scenes of the Oxbox Launch
Developing a new range of cooling and heating goods involves a number of steps. Oxbox Portfolio Leader Brian Steckroth provided us with some perspective. ContractingBusiness.com spoke to Davenport, who said that the development of Oxbox began in early 2018. “In terms of mobility, durability, and reliability, we’re confident in the product’s performance. That’s why Trane, the industry’s most reputable name, has agreed to support it ” Says Davenport,” he exclaimed. Currently, Trane has no distribution partners with which to begin distribution.
When Trane® decided to launch the Oxbox brand, what was the impetus?
Ingersoll Rand’s theme at the recent International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, “Comfort Solutions for Every Home,” comes to mind as a good way to sum it up. We’ve been providing premium and mid-grade HVAC solutions for decades using Trane and American Standard. As a Trane-branded Oxbox, homeowners, builders, property managers, and owners now have a more affordable choice to choose from. Creating warm or cold air at an affordable price is all most clients want; they don’t care about frills.
Is there anything in the box that I don’t know about?
A: Despite the fact that Oxbox is a new brand, the components inside the boxes have been in use for more than five years with no issues. Because it’s been tried and tested in the most extreme settings, we can be confident that this is a reliable option. Oxbox’s quiet, the energy-efficient operation is just as important as its long-lasting resilience.
The Trane endorsement is critical, but how significant is it?
The Trane name is a big draw for housebuilders and Trane dealers, so I expect Oxbox will be a big hit with them as well. How confident property managers are that they can meet their budget while keeping their residents satisfied and reducing the number of service calls and repairs is what matters most. Trane is not just the industry’s most trusted* brand, but it also ensures that support, warranty, and value are all present. That’s a big deal in a competitive market.
Q: When can I expect to see this product?
There will be an excellent selection of air conditioners and heat pumps, as well as air handlers and furnaces, packaged units, and indoor air coils to choose from when we open our doors in the spring. Throughout 2019 and 2020, we’ll be expanding those lines with new units. Trane has authorized a new brand, Oxbox, that provides options for clients looking for low-cost heating and cooling. As a global business, we believe in a world where growth and success may last for generations to come.
Q: You’ve developed a new warranty for this product. What was the reasoning behind this shift in strategy?
A standard warranty with a slew of exclusions and asterisks was out of the question. We opted to go with a “no registration necessary” policy because only a small number of consumers actually register their warranties. With great coverage, users can get through the first year without having to worry about their compressor, coil, or heat exchanger breaking down. Standard parts are covered for five years and the compressor has a seven-year** warranty.
