Lost my bearings for a second. what the hell were we arguing over? Matt, I agree. Because Jessica is so focused on her upcoming wedding and Matt is so focused on preparing for some sort of town Jingle Bell event, Matt and Jessica don’t immediately dislike each other when they first meet. Furthermore, Jessica needs to fly back the next morning with her bouquet of flowers to continue organizing the wedding in New York City the next day. She won’t be staying around for more than a few days unless, of course, anything happens to make that necessary. It’s unlikely, but it’s possible. A hundred percent chance, baby!!
Because Jessica is staying at Matt’s place, the two of them have to spend a lot of time together now. There aren’t any motels in this little Alaskan town. Matt stands around and looks dashingly attractive while Jessica uses her planning talents to smooth over any hiccups that may arise during the Jingle Bell festival preparations, and they converse, learn about each other, watch Aurora Borealis and stuff, make snow angels, and construct snowmen.
