Anjelica Huston portrayed Morticia in The Addams Family and its sequel, and Carolyn Jones in the TV series, Halloween, and the New Admas Family TV movie. Gomez, in his role as head of the family in the 1992 version, is a happy-go-lucky man full of confidence and enthusiasm, and he was the one who set their family dancing at the conclusion of segments and episodes. When Morticia flirts with him by kissing him on the hands, he has a Spanish accent and plays in risky games like Hiding and Seek with his brother Fester Addams. As a skilled swordsman, Gomez’s defense of his family extends to his wife and children as well. This made him envious when other men, such as Hairdo, developed feelings for her.
