Throughout the show’s three seasons, flashbacks have included Mel’s late husband Mark Monroe (Daniel Gillies), who passed away in a car accident before she arrived in the Virgin River.
In any event, it doesn’t seem like Boyd is anticipating his return. Boyd just tweeted a statement that appears to be a farewell. There is still a remote possibility that Boyd will return for Virgin River season 4 despite the fact that it currently seems unlikely. The “twin” cliche had already been employed by Paige’s ex-husband and brother-in-law in Virgin River. Can we anticipate Boyd playing Lilly’s sibling again in the future? I want that to happen! The actress was reluctant at first but eventually agreed to the arrangement. Boyd was terrified of the word “cancer” because he had already lost two siblings to the illness.
Simply put, I didn’t want to; there was nothing wrong with me. She had to reconsider her position before she could agree to the tale. Even though Boyd frequently refers to Lilly in the first person during our interview, she is a made-up character. Boyd had to continuously remind herself that she was playing a cancer patient as a professional actor.
