The Mongolian government wrote to the FIA two years ago in response to Max Verstappen’s use of a racist slur during a free practice session, expressing their disapproval of the Red Bull driver’s use of the epithet and his following lack of remorse.

2021:
In January 2021, Vips was given the news that Liam Lawson will be taking a full-time Formula 2 seat with Hitech Grand Prix. In the first race at Bahrain’s International Circuit, VIPS came in fifth. But he was disqualified from the competition due to a technological error. VIPs might be found from last to tenth place. He was given the chance to start from the first row for the second race after placing tenth in the first race. He was attacked by Lirim Zendeli at the start of the race. He was passed by Guanyu Zhou on the sixth lap, which cost him the lead.
As a result of finishing tenth in Monza, Vips would start second in the opening sprint race. In the first curve, he passed Beckmann and kept the lead. On the fifteenth lap, Pourchaire overtook him and assumed control. After then, Vips’ race took a turn for the worst, and he ultimately placed eighth. On the seventh lap of the main race, Vips was forced to retire due to a mechanical problem with his vehicle. 2022

At the season-ending race in Abu Dhabi, where he qualified last, Vips had little to show for his efforts. He had a difficult time advancing in the sprint events, placing 12th in the first. In the second sprint, he was forced to give up after colliding with the recently crowned champion Piastri.

In October 2018, Vips was allegedly a member of the Red Bull Junior Team. His participation was officially announced one month prior to the Macau Grand Prix. In November 2020, Vips successfully completed a 300-kilometer test at Silverstone while using Red Bull Racing and the Red Bull RB8 to earn his FIA Super Licence. He served as the Red Bull and AlphaTauri sister team’s backup driver at the Turkish, Bahrain, Sakhir, and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix.
In Red Bull’s final young driver test of the season in Abu Dhabi, he operated the RB16. At the conclusion of the 2021 Formula One season, he took the RB16B on a test drive in Abu Dhabi. Vips will be a Red Bull reserve driver in 2022. He replaced Sergio Pérez in Red Bull’s free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix in 2022. Vips were placed on administrative leave by Red Bull awaiting the conclusion of an investigation into a racial epithet he used in a June 2022 Twitch Livestream.
