This powder creates a physical response that collects water from the head’s surface and absorbs excess oil, keeping your hair roots dry. SEVICH is a hair powder that comes in seven different colors, claims to be sweat-proof, and temporarily conceals thinning hair. This product is free of parabens, sulfates, and peroxides, according to Amazon’s description. It is 4 grams in weight, which is about right. To use, simply dip the puff into the powder and run it through your hair, paying special attention to the grey roots and hairline.

Among the ingredients are polyethylene, caprylic/capric triglyceride, bismuth oxychloride, Cl 77499 and Cl 77510, Ethylhexyl palmitate, and polyparaben. The ingredients aren’t listed on the website or on Amazon, and I threw away my package before I could write them down. It’s difficult to tell the difference between ozokerite and wax. Despite the fact that it claims to be paraben-free, this product contains polyparabens.

Powder makes Filling in bald Spots a Breeze

This compact, which has a mirror and a puff on the bottom for easy application, can be used for touch-ups on the go. My natural dark brown/dark auburn hair is thinning (about 30% grey), so I’m considering dyeing it. I’ll use the dark brown hair powder to conceal my thinning hair and cover up the grey in between salon visits. To cover the grey in the top photo, I had to use a lot of powder, and some of it still shows through, giving it a matte finish. This powder makes filling in bald spots a breeze.

I realized after the photo was taken that I needed to add more powder to the bottom. It comes with a puff that can be used to cover large areas of grey hairs. For more precise application, use a firm makeup brush. I can feel the transfer when I go through my hair with my fingers or a comb/brush. The powder is sweatproof (not waterproof) in my experience, but I imagine that if there is a lot of sweat on the edges of my hair, it will flow off. The shampoo is a simple way to get rid of it. It’s possible to use this product like an eyebrow powder, but because it transfers, it’s unlikely to last all day.

I didn’t see much powder on my face, but a cotton ball was covered in hair powder, which I assumed came from my forehead, where I’d brushed my bangs away from my face during the day. I’ll have to be more cautious about touching and caring for my hair and face. It lasts all day when I use it in the morning. It’s fantastic. The next morning, my pillow had a little powder on it, but it lasted longer on the top of my head than on the edges. I usually sleep with a silk cap on to keep the powder in place.

Despite the fact that my hair becomes oily after a few days of washing, the matte finish of this lotion keeps it from looking oily for the rest of the day. From a distance, the Sevich hair powder does a good job of hiding grey hair, but it doesn’t completely cover the strands. Because it hides thin hair so well, it’s difficult to tell that this is a powder. I feel so much better when I wear my hair up and hide the thinning edges. I’m certain I’ll return for more.

Usage:

A small amount of product is dispensed into a puff, which is then gently rubbed over the unruly hairline to make it look neater. Apply the shadow powder to the hairline from root to tip, extending the feel of the hair. As a result of stopping dyeing my hair, my hair has become noticeably more vibrant and healthy. However, a product I had previously used suddenly began to leave my hair brassy orange in the lighter sections. Purple shampoo was my first attempt at taming the strong highlights, but it was ineffective. The small puff that comes with this powder is ideal!

To select a color fill based on the situation

In every way, it’s a fantastic product. I used to get my dark brown hair dyed every three months or so to make it look more vibrant before the epidemic. Instead of going to the salon, I’ve been using this Sevich hair shadow in Light Blonde to hide my roots. Any of the blonde tones, I’m guessing, would look great with this color. With this product, it’s impossible to make a mistake. It looks natural and lasts until you wash your hands again.’ This lotion easily conceals the grey hairs that have started to show on my head. Even after the pandemic, I may never return to the hair salon.

Straight, shoulder-length hair is my go-to look. I apply this product to my dry hair in the morning before I go to work, and it’s so simple and error-proof that I don’t even give it a second thought. Ordered this when the pandemic began, and I’m delighted with it (it also makes dirty hair look clean) (it also makes dirty hair look clean). After using a dry shampoo, I’ve also found that this works great as a follow-up product. This is a fantastic product that I’ve been telling all of my friends about. So delighted I found it and rushed to get one!

It was a pleasure working with you!

In the last five years, I’ve discovered the greatest of what’s out there. Even after I’ve dyed my hair permanently, I still use this powder to fill in any gaps where my scalp is visible. I’ve been using it weekly for about 4 months and am thrilled with it so far! Ordering a second one for when I’m on the road. Wow, this is way better than a spray, you guys. It also lasts a lot longer, doesn’t rub off as much as a spray, and my pillow rarely gets shady from using it.

I’d suggest using a darker pillowcase, but I still use white so I can see the shadiness. Because I try to wash my hair only once a week, I appreciate that this specific brand’s powder is so heavily pigmented that it covers my hair and scalp immediately and lasts for approximately a week on me. Also, the sponge’s shape and function are incredibly convenient; it’s absolutely wonderful!

In comparison to the other product, I bought with a brush for travel I quickly realized number one how it was not pigmented and how it didn’t cover anything even after a few times of applying over and over. So in this case I don’t mind if this round little jar will take up more space in my evening purse, it’s just such a high quality and so worth the space to give up the space lol. My favorite feature is that it’s so easy to use!
