Ruby Wax Plastic Surgery: Ruby Wax claims to have discovered an anti-aging skin treatment that outperforms Botox, and she also advises maintaining an active sex life and gardening to stay young. The comedian, who was born in the United States, has acknowledged using Botox to treat Wrinkles. However, the mother of three now claims to have discovered an anti-aging solution.

A bottle of La Prairie cream costs £150, while a Botox procedure can cost up to £350. To keep young, Miss Wax also suggests gardening and having an active sex life. There are a plethora of cosmetic surgical methods available to combat the effects of aging, ranging from anti-wrinkle injections to laser resurfacing. Ruby Wax, on the other hand, claims to have discovered an age-defying solution that outperforms the competition and is even better than Botox. The comedian admitted that she used Botox to keep wrinkles at bay, but now uses a £150 La Prairie lotion. Botox treatments might cost as much as £350 each session.

‘I use La Prairie to give my complexion a bit of a glow,’ said Miss Wax, 64. I’ve received Botox injections in the past. Then I heard about La Prairie, and I’ve been Botox-free for a couple of years. We all age, and I propose La Prairie and meditation if you want to take care of yourself as you become older.’ Miss Wax, a mother of three from the United States, also advised maintaining an active sex life and gardening. ‘Meditation keeps you youthful because it lowers the stress hormone cortisol,’ she explained. ‘However, don’t be too hard on yourself if meditation isn’t your thing. Garden. Alternatively, have a lot of sex.

Find out what makes you feel less stressed.’

‘Do anything you can to lower the stress hormone. Angelina Jolie, Mick Jagger, and the Beckhams are among the celebrities who have lauded the Swiss brand La Prairie. David even admitted to stealing Victoria’s La Prairie Cellular Time Release Moisturizer Intensive, which can cost up to £148 for a 30ml bottle. Ruby Wax is one of my favorite things. Tina Fey, the legendary actress, and screenwriter, on her favorite TV show’s “perfectly imperfect” characters, and mistaking cosmologists for cosmetologists.

As we get to the close of this conversation, Ruby Wax’s last remarks create a needless appeal: Wax will not come across as uninteresting. The OBE actress earned her career on television as the host of a series of shows named after her: The Full Wax, Ruby Wax Meet, Ruby, and The Ruby Wax Show. She was born in America but became a household name in the United Kingdom. She worked as a script editor for Absolutely Fabulous and has authored a number of memoirs, including And Now For the Good News, a book designed to help readers locate the sunlight behind dark clouds, or “green shoots of hope,” as Ruby puts it, in our often depressing world.

She is anything but boring, and her taste reflects that: over the phone from South Africa, she passionately plays us some of her favorite songs while gushing “you probably won’t like this!” and appears offended when we don’t know who her favorite painter is. During our discussion, we also talk about HBO’s Succession’s excellent dialogue, as well as her pandemic experience’s saving grace. Ruby waxes on the other aspects of the culture she’s been enjoying lately in the video below.

Deva Premal is the Composer of the Music

HANA is one of my favorite characters. She sounds like she’s from another planet; I’ve never heard anything quite like her before. Burning Man: Art on Fire, a documentary about the festival, featured her music. She captures what it’s like to start from the ground up and develop a 100-foot walking robot. I like how strange it is. Deva Premal is another favorite of mine. Hold on, you should be able to hear it now. She’s here, singing in Sanskrit. [Music from YouTube is being played.] This is her famous one – but first, let’s hear the pitch for plastic surgery.

I also listen to bird noises to help me relax. There were also crickets. That’s something I’ve done for a long time. I know that’s strange, but it helps me relax. I listen in the evenings and early in the mornings. I, too, enjoy listening to nature sounds. My television show would be Succession. It’s difficult to stop playing. It’s as savage as they come. I enjoy the brutality and vengeance, and you can’t beat Succession for that — cruelty and vengeance, at long last! All of the characters are amazing, and they’re all so flawed. The sentences have so much realism that I was blown away by how well they represented conversation. Everybody was a match for everyone else.

The Infinite Monkey Cage (Podcast)

I’ve listened to every episode of Brian Cox and Robin Ince’s science podcast The Infinite Monkey Cage. If you want to feel scared, this is the show for you: they know quantum physics and astrophysics, and they bring in specialists from all over the world for each episode, as well as a comedian to play the fool. That is their function.

They had me on, and when they asked, I puked. In comparison to Brian Cox, I was like the sole of a shoe. “If there are parallel universes, how would I get the fork into just one mouth?” I questioned as we ate dinner, hoping to impress him. I asked a cosmologist there, who I mistook for a cosmetologist but was actually a cosmetic surgeon, what the best facelift he’d ever done. Since then, I’ve studied more about black holes and wish I could have been swept into one.

Pierre Bonnard (artist)

In South Africa, I saw Dylan Lewis’ work. He’s a sculptor known for his abstract paintings of wild creatures. And I adore Salvador Dal and Matisse, whose vibrant colors make me swoon. But Pierre Bonnard, who created ‘The Red Checkered Tablecloth,’ is my ultimate favorite. I’d like to be there, and I’d like to have that tablecloth. It simply means tranquility to me. I’m not sure what it is; it’s a fantasy of a place I’d like to reside. There’s another Bonnard that I adore. It’s in a flower-filled field.

Tina Fey (comedy)

Tina Fey is a funny woman. Nobody writes as she does. She’s the best when it comes to murdering a line. Every single line is amusing. The spikiness appeals to me; ‘decent guys’ do not. And Armando Iannucci, Veep; you know when you’re laughing so hard that you can’t stop? Each and every line.

Frazzled Café is a lockdown hobby

I’ve maintained going by doing Frazzled Cafés [a charity online community started by Wax that gives a safe and confidential venue for peer-to-peer communication and discussion]. I believe in community, and most nights, that was my community. I didn’t know any of the people on those displays, but I sensed their compassion. It was facilitators, not me, and it wasn’t for mentally sick individuals – we’re not therapists – but it was an opportunity to question, “What’s the weather condition in your mind?”

People understand – they have one or two minutes to say something succinctly, and then they break off into breakout groups to talk about whatever they want. People look at each other with such compassion in the video that it makes me wish that people in real life had that connection. A lot of folks say they’re going to remember this when they get out.
