Ronan Keating’s Wife: Storm Keating, Ronan Keating’s wife, will require a year of rehabilitation following a near-paralyzing accident. In an interview with People magazine, Storm Keating, the Ex-wife of boyband star Ronan Keating, discussed her post-operative worries and how the former boyband member and his older children helped her heal.
The storm hasn’t always had it easy being married to Boyzone’s Ronan Keating. It was only five months after Ronan’s divorce from his first wife, Yvonne, that she and the 39-year-old fell in love with each other. In 2015, the couple married. “People were a lot more judgmental back in the early days when I first started dating Ro,” she says. “However, I believe they’ve become more familiar with me with time.” So far so good; they’ve settled in well with their two children, four-year-old Cooper (and 14-month-old Coco). Ronan and Yvonne have three children together: Jack, 22; Missy, 20; and Ali, 15 years old. Storm revealed that she couldn’t have survived an emergency procedure on her back without the support of her husband and older children from The One Show. In her case, she had cauda equina syndrome, a rare kind of spinal stenosis that may have resulted in paralysis had she not been treated. Fortunately, it appears that the procedure to cure it was a success. “I don’t know how we would have gotten through this speed bump if it wasn’t for the support of Ronan, Jack, and Missy,” she says. The fright has impacted my perspective on life in a big way.
In this interview, the Australian actress opens up about her experience as a new mother and the impact her son Ronan has on her life. Thanks for getting in touch with me. Which aspect of being a mother do you enjoy the most? Everything. I had no clue that having a child could make your heart so full that it would literally burst. When I met my husband, I felt it was the greatest thing that had ever happened in my life. But then you have children, and it’s a whole other kind of situation altogether. Seeing them every day is a source of unending happiness. Regardless of how bad your day was, they are the only thing that matters. They make you feel like you’re about to burst. As a mother, I can’t even picture life without it. I’m in awe of my good fortune!
Is there Good Chemistry between Cooper & Coco?
Sure thing! Little Cooper has captured Cooper’s heart. The three older children, Jack, Missy, and Ali, are enamored with the two younger children. It’s heartwarming. They’re all really close, all five of them.
As they get older, would you object if either of them were in the public eye: No. Only their happiness is what matters to me. We’ll back them up if they’re enthusiastic about something that’s getting a lot of attention. In Cooper’s case, I believe it has to do with his heart, as he is such a nice, serene, and thoughtful person in general. Even at this young age, we tell him he’s going to be a scientist or a hero. You can’t help but notice his aura.
We’d like to know how you and Ronan co-parent: As a team, Ro and I are fantastic. Parenting is a topic on which we have a great deal of agreement. We’ve come a long way from where we started. We’ve got to put in a lot of time and effort. We’re devoted to creating a safe, nurturing environment for our students and their families. Ethics and etiquette are important to us. Both hard labor and graciousness are required. I couldn’t be more pleased with him as a father, and I couldn’t be happier. Having him in their lives is a blessing.
Is he a huge help to you now that you’ve had a spinal operation: Yeah, he’s been wonderful support! As have our older children. We couldn’t be happier with Jack and Missy. It would not have been feasible without the support of a solid family.
Your post-op recovery: How did you feel: When the surgeon declared the operation a success, I was overcome with emotion. Then I spent a few weeks with waves of emotions. You begin to feel anxious. You come to terms with the fact that you wouldn’t have been able to drive to school, or go on vacation, had you not been born. You’re going over all of these things in your head.
Is your attitude on life altered as a result?
Without a doubt. Since my experience, I’ve got an entirely new perspective on life. Right now, I’m still undergoing treatment for my injury. Even if I’m not entirely to blame, I have a serious problem with not taking time out for myself. My life is out of whack. However, I’ve come to realize that you can’t just ignore your body. You must take care of yourself first and foremost.
How long do you expect to be in rehabilitation?
You’ve needed to give the nerves 12 months post-surgery. Before then, I’m on a rigorous training regimen that will loosen up as my strength improves. After twelve years of marriage and three children, Ronan Keating and his first wife, Yvonne Connolly, decided to call it quits in 2010. In February of that year, the couple had an offer accepted on a huge mansion just outside Dublin for £3.5 million. Yvonne, 46, was getting ready to move when she made a shocking discovery that rocked her world. For some time she’d detected a shift in the marriage and had thought something was awry, according to reports, claim The Mirror.
Confirmation of her suspicions came when she examined Ronan’s phone bills and discovered calls to an unfamiliar number. It was gorgeous Boyzone backing dancer Francine Cornell, then 26, who had been involved in a secret seven-month affair with her husband when Yvonne played detective and called the number, learning the owner’s identity from the answering machine. Francine had previously told The Sun that “she suspected something was going on and she got hold of his phone records and contacted my number. “She learned my name from my voicemail,” I said. When Ronan first heard the news, he tried to deny it all. He told me that I was a dancer from the tour and that he and I were just good friends.

Yvonne, on the other hand, wasn’t convinced and called Francine herself a few days later. Francine was telling the truth when she declared that their attraction was more than just sexual – she was madly in love with Ronan, and he admitted as much. But a few days later, he ended things with Francine in order to rekindle his romance with Yvonne, telling her over the phone that they would never talk again.
Francine was shocked when Yvonne invited her to London a month later: “I just wanted to know what was going on. It wasn’t enough for Yvonne to just get the facts and make sure they were consistent, she said on Brendan O’Connor’s Cutting Edge. “It was quite difficult to determine who you can rely on.” So, there you have it. A 20-minute discussion was all that was required of me to meet this girl. Then again, in fairness to her, she came to meet me. It was only a 20-minute talk that turned into two bottles of wine.
What makes Storm Keating so well-known in the world of fashion?
The storm began her career in apparel design while she was still working as a television director and producer. She collaborated with Stivaleria Cavallin, an acclaimed Italian shoe designer, in 2011. It was at London Fashion Week in 2015 that her Storm Boots made their debut. ‘A compilation of thoughts loves, appreciations, and adventures’ is how she characterizes her personal blog, which she started in 2016.
