Even though they needed some alone time, he also praised the idea of being with other couples who were going through similar hardships and encouraged them to do the same.
After the pandemic has taken its toll on their wedding plans, the couple appears to be making final preparations. They should get it done this time around because of the pandemic, Nick Young said. According to the athlete, it’s also possible that it will happen this summer. The couple stated they have a date set, but they haven’t decided on a location yet.

Pregnant with her first child, Green is the owner of TNK Hair Studio in Los Angeles. According to Young, the 31-year-old mother of a 4-year-old son, Nick Jr., she was “shocked” to discover she was pregnant. Iggy Azalea confirmed her divorce from Young on June 19. It was 2014 when the two began dating, and it was June 2015 when they became engaged.

ASK UNITED STATES WEEKLY: How did you two meet?
KEONA GREEN: I first met Nick in 2002 when we were both freshmen in high school. Playing basketball with him made me happy. We clicked right away. I was the one who originally developed an attraction to him. I offered him some of those Mrs. Fields cookies in an attempt to persuade him. “Whoever has Nick, I want him,” I stated to the female members of my cheering squad when we had to perform a “secret Santa”-type thing for the basketball players on my team.
What brought you to him, and what made you fall in love with him in the first place?
In my opinion, KG is a genuinely nice guy. Basketball provides a window into many aspects of a person’s life, including their personality. He was raised by loving parents who instilled in him a love for women. Because of his line of work, he can’t help but get a lot of attention from women.
US: Did it seem like it was a constant relationship or a lot of ups and downs?
Not a lot of ups and downs, but then again, we were young and didn’t have many to speak of. It wasn’t anything serious. We would argue for a while before moving on. There were times when I felt a little bit like the envious girlfriend. Whoa, what’s he doing here? Which hallway is he in? My mind was boggled. Things like that. Of course, he was swamped with female visitors.
US: How worried would you be if you suspected he was cheating on you?
As a teenager, I was quite self-obsessed. I led my cheerleading group, whereas he led his basketball team. Since he was the man, we were a good match. I had a lot of confidence in myself.
To date professional basketball player, what challenges do you face
There is a big difference between dating a professional basketball player in the 1980s and today. Isn’t that unusual…? As far as I can tell, I’m not in command of anything anymore. I’m only the mother of his child. At the time, I served as the leader of my cheerleading squad as captain. As a result, I could accomplish anything he could do. It varies from time to time.
Is he a man you’d like to marry?
KG: That’s correct. As you may have gathered by now, I’ve only met a handful of people in my time. In addition, Nick looked to be a good match for me. “This is it for me,” I told myself when I returned the second time. I found out they were dating [in 2013] thanks to TMZ. When I asked about it, I was told no. Things got a little more difficult after that. She was moving into the house a few months after they started dating, so I contacted her. When I returned with my son, we met in the living room.
Having my son around someone who made me feel uncomfortable was not something I wanted to do. As a matter of respect, I asked that you not post any photographs of my son online. Anyone who heard that I wasn’t active in his life would have assumed the worse. The woman said, “I completely understand.” My connection with Nick was clearly over. She was in the house where I used to reside before. I burst into tears as I walked home. Nick Jr., on the other hand, had a great time. To which he’d always respond, “My daddy and Iggy went to Target and bought me this.”
