As a result of this mixture, the skin appears softer and smoother. Because it’s oil-free and non-comedogenic, you can use it as a makeup primer.

My review of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel:

Packaging:

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is housed in a stylish marine blue glass container. What a lovely feeling of fineness. The glass jar is so strong that it doesn’t shatter even if it falls. It’s inconvenient to take on a road trip, but it’s also good for the environment.

Color and texture:

In terms of texture, Neutrogena’s Water Gel is identical to Laneige’s Water Sleeping Mask. It’s not a gel, and it’s also not a cream. The gel is exactly what it says on the tin: water. It has a subtle blue hue to it, however, it is completely transparent when applied to the skin.

Fragrance:

This smells like it came straight from the sea. This smells fantastic for people who enjoy fragrance-free products, but it may be a little too strong for others. The scent tends to linger after application. It has a particular scent that I find appealing.

Here’s a rundown of what I’ve learned thus far:

You’ll note that I have two jars of this moisturizer in the photo (as a sign that I adore it). I’ve completed the first jar and am currently working on the second. Because my oily skin is prone to breakouts, I can’t use cream-based moisturizers. Gels are a need for me. This Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is a light moisturizer that nevertheless manages to keep the skin hydrated. It dries swiftly and leaves my skin feeling soft and silky with a satin-matte finish.

I use it both during the day and at night because it is SPF-free. I prefer non-SPF moisturizers because they can be applied at any time of day or night. The Hydro Boost Water Gel is non-pilling and works well with various skincare and cosmetics. Finally, I haven’t developed a rash as a result of it. My aunt also swears by this gel and praises how amazing it makes her dry skin feel. This therapy is often beneficial to all skin types, whether oily or dry. The Hyaluronic Acid ingredient in the Hydro Boost Water Gel will keep your skin hydrated all day. The only disadvantage is the price. However, if the product is effective, I am willing to spend on skincare.

Pros:

  • It’s booze-free.
  • Lightweight and non-greasy.
  • It takes a couple of seconds.
  • The skin is moisturized.
  • Provides a softer, more muted appearance.
  • It’s suitable for all skin types.
  • Non-comedogenic.
  • Approved by Dermatologists

Cons:

Price

It’s like reading the same thing over and over again when it comes to researching beauty and skincare products before purchasing and putting them to the test. Even oily skin will produce more sebum and other oily substances to counteract dryness if it is not moisturized. That was the determining element in my decision to try a new moisturizer. It wasn’t until I tested this product recently that I realized how mistaken I was about the Elemis product I was using previously. My wallet began to complain as soon as I needed to replenish it, and my skin continued to shine uncomfortably.

I came across this gel moisturizer while perusing the advertising in the garbage. When I completed my study, I noticed that there were no alcoholic beverages in the contents (and no other major concerns). I didn’t have to order it online and wait for a long time because it was in a nearby store. As previously established, neither alcohol nor any other substance that causes acne or irritants exists (for most, I hope). Here’s what COSDNA has to say about it. Neutrogena claims that its products have been dermatologists and allergy-tested. Normally, I wouldn’t pay attention to claims like that because I’ve had negative reactions to similar statements in the past. The term “advertising” refers to a type of promotion.

I’ll be focusing on the following ingredients in my ingredient spotlight:

Dimethicone forms a moisture layer on the skin’s surface to help it maintain moisture. Sodium Hyaluronate is a salt form of Hyaluronic Acid that is hydrophilic and can retain 1,000 times its weight in water. Cyclopentasiloxane is a skin-protecting silicone that provides moisture without becoming oily. Over the last four months, my skin has improved dramatically. I’ve seen a reduction in the appearance of little wrinkles around my eyes, which are created by the aging process, as a result of smiling and squinting. I never have to worry about dry areas on my face or neck when I use this. My oily skin isn’t completely gone without my toner, primer, and other products.

Performance:

The following is according to Neutrogena:

“The Progressive Release System in Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel distributes moisture continuously for up to 24 hours.” A light gel-cream recipe with hydrating Hyaluronic acid and Olive extract promotes supple, healthy-looking skin with a radiant shine. This water gel has been my go-to morning moisturizer for the past four months. I’ve also been utilizing a variety of products to help with my oily/acne-prone skin, so keep in mind that the combination of all of these items contributes to my overall appearance (aka the state of my face).

My main motivation for choosing this product was to avoid greasiness and the desire for alcohol. I’m really pleased with the result of that endeavor. In the morning, after cleansing, toning, and spritzing with essence, I apply this to my face. It applies smoothly and swiftly absorbs into the skin, leaving no oily residue behind. Even so, I wait a few minutes longer before putting on any face makeup to ensure maximum absorption. The gel may be simply applied to the eye area without creating irritation. It’s a pleasure to touch, I must say. Both while using it and subsequently, your skin will feel great.

Would I recommend it?

Definitely. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is one of the best lightweight hydrating moisturizers I’ve used. You can use it all day without worrying about dehydrating your skin thanks to its superb recipe. Without a doubt.
