After penning a song for their unborn child, James Arthur opened up about his girlfriend’s ectopic pregnancy. While Jessica Girsts was pregnant with their daughter, the singer, 33, wrote the lyrics for the song “Emily.” The X-Factor contestant admitted on Andy Jaye’s An Hour With podcast that he wrote the song while he was still pregnant and that he “should have waited a bit longer”. Asked if “Emily” was about his unborn child, James replied: Yes, it is “Even though it was initially billed as that when it first appeared, my partner at the time agreed that it was a viable option. She was expecting.

“Unfortunately, the plan didn’t work out as planned. She had an ectopic pregnancy within a few months of meeting her husband. So she lost the baby, and I didn’t want to talk about it. Early years

As of 2 March 1988 he was born to an English mother and a Scottish father. 2020–present: It’ll All Make Sense at the End, guest appearances, and signing with other labels

Arthur revealed via Twitter in July 2020 that he had begun work on a new studio album, his fourth overall “I’ve been playing around with a new lane for the last few months, and I couldn’t be more excited to share with you this new lane I’m playing around in, I think you’ll be surprised in a good way.” For a long time, I’ve dreamed of recording this album.” Sigala’s upcoming single “Lasting Lover,” featuring Arthur’s vocals, is set for release on September 4th, 2020.
