I was a big admirer of the original CC+ Cream because it helped to level out my skin tone (without looking like I was wearing a makeup mask). When you swatch the Illumination version, you’ll notice that it’s packed with light-reflective pigments that, if I’m being honest, look like a disco happened on the back of your hand. On the face, however, those pigments blend into the skin and no longer appear shimmery—instead, they appear extraordinarily glowy, which gives your complexion the appearance of having been masked and massaged to within an inch of its life by an aesthetician.
In the CC+ collection, there’s a third option: an oil-free formulation for those with blemishes that, surprisingly, nevertheless gives the skin a healthy shine. And, if I’m being honest, my complexion falls squarely into the acne-prone group, but I can wear any of the CC+ formulas without breaking out. Hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and vitamins are all included in all three formulae to nourish and moisturize the skin throughout the day. SPF 50 in the original and illumination formulas, and SPF 40 in the oil-free formula. Charcoal and clay are used in the oil-free version to suck out impurities and soak up shine, while tea tree oil fights zits.

The color range was recently expanded to 12 across the board, indicating that the business is paying attention to its clients. While there aren’t many hues (Fenty Beauty can relax), they do range from light to dark. I was wearing Light before the Fair Light shade was released, and while it was slightly darker than I usually wear, it still worked, indicating that there is some wiggle area with each of the colors. I got the package yesterday and haven’t had a chance to try anything yet, but I thought I’d share some swatches and initial views. I believe the majority of the items are new and permanent, so once I’ve completed my testing, I want to write individual reviews for some of them! Your Skin But Better SPF 50 CC+ Cream Illumination: dewy, radiant; doesn’t feel heavy; slightly more than medium coverage (one pump of cream provided slightly more than medium coverage); only saw a very faint shimmer in a 5x magnifying circumstance.

This $39 CC cream is basically a tinted moisturizer with SPF, and it keeps my skin looking dewy throughout the day. The IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream is a full-coverage color-correcting cream with SPF 50. The cream promises to even out skin tone, cover dark spots, brighten skin, and enhance hydration, to name a few benefits. The product is quite easy to use. I apply a thick drop of the product to my pointer finger, then dab it over my cheeks, forehead, and chin with my fingertips, blending it in. It melts straight into your skin thanks to the warmth of your fingers, resulting in a seamless application. To blend it, you don’t need a brush, a cosmetic sponge, or any other fancy equipment, and the creamy consistency ensures that no harsh or streaky lines remain. For a natural, yet slightly “done up” appearance, I’ll sometimes add a fast flick of mascara, a sweep of blush, and a dab of under-eye concealer. But most mornings, I just apply a small amount of this and call it a day.
Last but not least
Overall, if you liked the previous formula, you’ll enjoy this one. The Anti-Aging Full Coverage Physical CC Cream Illumination formula is very similar to the Anti-Aging Full Coverage Physical CC Cream Illumination formula. I’m just not noticing any kind of shine or illumination here! Despite this, it applies smoothly, has a faultless finish, and lasts for several hours. However, the lack of an illuminated finish may be a turn off. But take my words with a grain of salt because I didn’t get much of a glow with Celebration Illumination, despite the fact that many individuals said it gave their skin a nice glow!
QVC.com debuted It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Full Coverage Physical CC Cream Illumination on March 27th. My skin always appears naturally radiant while I’m wearing this CC cream. My skin tone is even without noticeable imperfections, and the redness around my nose and cheeks is completely hidden, but there are still freckles, birthmarks, and some shiny patches on my forehead that make my skin look like just that — skin. The product does not crack or crease after a long day, but the coverage does.
It makes sense, given that this CC Cream is packed with hydrating, skin-smoothing components like hyaluronic acid, peptides, and collagen, which you’ll find in your favorite moisturizers. A plus is the addition of a mineral sunscreen (SPF 50). Unlike most sunscreens, which have a thick, almost goopy consistency, this product’s consistency is unaffected by the increased SPF.
When there is no sun, I even use the It Cosmetics CC Cream instead of foundation at night since I like them even, glowy coverage it provides. I usually make sure to wear real sunscreen underneath this cream if I’ll be spending time outside, but the extra SPF feels like a wonderful safety net. This is how I want my skin to look when I wake up, but for now, I’ll have to make do with how it looks after applying the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream.
