When the singer slipped in his hotel room at night and banged his head on a chair, it resulted in a nasty cut close to his eye and necessitated the cancellation of two gigs in 2017. Following a back operation, Collins developed a problem known as ‘foot drop,’ which necessitates the use of orthotic footwear. He now walks with the use of a cane and gave a performance while seated in a chair.

Only a day before, he had been seen in Georgia being put into a wheelchair while seeing his son Nicholas, now 18, perform a drum solo. It was true to form that Phil bravely carried on with his show, although with the help of Orianne and their children. Because of adversity, he’s remained strong.
