Sharon, who had a bronzed tan and a straight poker-straight blow-dry, stated in the episode, ‘I’ve been groomed, polished, and plucked.’ Viewers of the show took to Twitter to express their disgust with the character’s transformation. Letitia has been outspoken about her weight yo-yoing for years, and she claimed in 2020 that she was harassed by trolls. On the set of the spin-off show Secrets from the Square, the other actors complained that she was too overweight and couldn’t fit in. She stated, ‘She’s too overweight.’ ‘”

This isn’t the first time Letitia has spoken up about being bullied as a child because her breasts weren’t nearly as big as they should have been. She shed two stone and four dress sizes when she starred in High School Musical in 2008, falling from 10th 4lbs to 8th 3lbs. Letitia described her weight-loss strategy as a “good old-fashioned technique” that includes increasing her physical activity and eating healthier foods.
Going from a size 14 to a size 10 has been a life-changing event for me. She only went to the gym for the first time last year, but she’s since become a running and boxing addict. She added at the time, “I started coming to the gym for the first time last year, and now I adore it.” Rather than depending on fad diets or deprivation, “I shed pounds the old-fashioned way, by dancing and exercising. Sharon returned to Albert Square on Wednesday, and she made a great impression. Her supporters on Twitter reacted positively to her new look, congratulating her and thanking her for her hard work.
