I often feel out of sorts (ugh, lousy) around this time of year lethargic, unmotivated, and my clothing is a little tight. I recently completed my third Freshii 3-day juice detox and am now ready to share my findings. Juice cleansing has apparently become a yearly ritual for me. I spent roughly $115.00 on juice for three days, including tax. I wanted to give my body more vitamins and reset my brain to reduce my junk food cravings, which would help me lose weight.

The first time I completed the cleanse, dinner consisted of four juices and a salad. To be honest, having a large salad with dressing to look forward to at the end of the day was lovely. By the second day, I was in pain and thinking about eating. I felt like puking because I was drinking so much liquid. I didn’t care if I drank or not.

2 Juice Cleanse

I opted to alter the cleanse the second time I did it. I drank three juices (breakfast, snack, and lunch), but I ate my regular dinner – although a lighter version of it. Freshii juices were available at Walmart at the time, so I purchased what I needed. Mentally, the second cleanse was a lot easier than the first. After three days, I felt great.

Unfortunately, Freshii has changed their 3-day cleanse and removed the supper salad! It’s all about juices and elixirs now.

So, now that it’s finished, how do I feel?

Good. I’m more hydrated now. Streamlined (lost 3.5 lbs of liquid). There’s still plenty of it. I felt that I needed to supplement my cleanse with some salad (around dinnertime) on days 2 and 3 because I’m very active out on the trails and work out daily. I also put in half an avocado for good measure. So don’t bother about eating anything nutritious if you’re too hungry.

Is the 3-day cleanse something I would recommend?

Yes. As I previously stated, I completed the cleanse in part to curb my junk food cravings, and it worked perfectly. For three days, I didn’t eat any chips. Because you can buy the entire 3-day supply at once and put it in your fridge, the cleanse is really simple and practical. Freshii’s juices also taste great and aren’t overly thick in texture. I’m not a big fan of juices in general, but I liked them all save the carrot one. I had lost 3.5 pounds and my clothes were no longer as tight.

If you’re aiming to lose weight, losing a little weight is always a good motivator. It’s Monday night, I just ended my coaching call, did some work, just finished some research on a new project I’m working on and I just finished a 3-day JUICE CLEANSE about 5 days ago. I didn’t want to start at 1 day, and 5 days seemed a little long for my first effort in almost 3 years, so I chose the 3 days to cleanse!

Taste

To be honest, I enjoyed the Freshii juices a lot. These were by far the best juice cleanses I’ve ever done. I didn’t have to be afraid of drinking them, nor did I have to take them slowly because I didn’t enjoy the taste, which simply added to the pain. I appreciated them as a pleasant beverage.

What Was It Like to Have a Day Like This?

I started each morning with a glass of warm lemon water, as they suggested. Then, roughly 2.5 hours apart, I started my day by having the following liquids in order. In addition to the Freshii juices, they recommend drinking 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day. Teas made from herbs are also permitted. They recommend increasing the quantity of water you drink throughout the day, including herbal teas, if you’re hungry throughout your cleanse. However, you must also pay attention to your body.

Will there be any negative side effects from cleansing?

To be honest, detoxification symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, and/or headaches may occur. The easiest approach to avoid these symptoms is to properly prepare for your juice cleanse and keep hydrated. If you feel like you need to eat something, go for raw or barely cooked fruits and vegetables. You may find a list of their frequently asked questions here.

Is it necessary for me to cleanse on a regular basis?

When it comes to how often you should cleanse, there are no hard and fast rules. It’s completely up to you! If you want to try juicing but aren’t ready to commit to a full cleanse, try juicing for 24 hours once a week while still eating a balanced meal.

Overall

In terms of juice cleanses, I loved Freshii’s. I enjoyed the taste of the juices so much that I bought two more to drink as juice today. It did appear to assist me in hitting the reset button and supercharging the nutrients entering my body. Since the detox, I haven’t had any coffee and have returned to tea. Actually, I’ve never had much of a sweet tooth. It re-invigorated my desire to drink ++ water, which I desperately needed. So, if you’re looking for a juice cleanse, Freshii is absolutely worth a shot, in my opinion.
