Fekkai Shampoo Reviews

Have a fantastic Thursday, everyone! I’ve been using Fekkai’s Brilliant Glossing Shampoo & Conditioner ($27.99 CAD each, available at London Drugs) for the past few weeks and have been pleased with the results, so I thought I’d write a quick review. Both of these olive oil-based products are designed to keep hair glossy and smooth. Have you ever tried Fekkai hair care products before? Do you regularly buy shampoos and conditioners that promise to make your hair shine?

Packaging:

Before getting into the formula, I’d want to laud the virtues of these guys’ packaging. Take a look at that cap, even though the bottle itself is a conventional plastic container with an easy-to-squeeze translucent cap. I’ve been researching cleaner haircare products, such as shampoos, conditioners, and styling products, as part of my ongoing effort to incorporate cleaner goods into my daily routine. I was thrilled to learn that Frédéric Fekkai, a well-known French hairstylist, had just launched a clean haircare collection, as I’d used and enjoyed his products over the past years.

Formulation & Outcomes:

The Fekkai Glossing Shampoo’s translucent composition creates a rich, cleansing lather. There isn’t a distinct scent to either product; instead, they have a light floral/herbal haircare scent. The conditioner isn’t as rich and thick as I prefer, but it makes my hair feel very smooth and shiny when combined with the shampoo. It’s safe to use on colored hair, and after just a few weeks of daily use, I’ve noticed a difference in the strength of my hair.

Overall:

Both products strengthen and smooth the hair, giving it a sleeker, more glossy appearance. The only negative I see with these is the price; $29.99 for a shampoo or conditioner is a lot of money. Fekkai, on the other hand, has a three-piece starter package for $17.99 that allows you to try out the Brilliant Glossing range before investing in full-sized bottles.

The All-Inclusive Collection

Fekkai’s The One collection, which took five years to develop, now includes a non-toxic shampoo, conditioner, and hair mist. The One Pure haircare collection contains more than 95 percent plant-based ingredients. All of their smells are derived from plants, making them vegan and cruelty-free. Silicone, parabens, phthalates, and sulfates are all absent from the collection.

The Pure Fragrance

When it comes to the performance of Fekkai goods, as well as the perfume of Fekkai items, I usually have high expectations. They always have such a beautiful scent! One of my favorite haircare scents was and still is Fekkai’s shea butter series. I recall the introduction of a shea butter-scented body cream. The cream went on eBay for ridiculous amounts and was rapidly sold out after Oprah declared it one of her favorite things. To this day, I still adore the scent.

I must admit that I am a sucker for well-scented hair products. For me, the smell adds to the overall experience. So I wasn’t convinced when I read that The Pure range was scented entirely by nature. Nonetheless, I had high hopes for this collection, and I’m delighted to report that I was not disappointed. It’s everything Fekkai would have me believe it is, much to my joy. The scent is difficult to describe – it’s gentle and herbal, and it’s just so fresh and lovely.

Shampoo in its purest form

Removes excess oil and impurities while purifying the scalp and hair. The shampoo is made with natural chemicals and plant extracts and is non-stripping. Aloe vera is gentle on the scalp, while hydrolyzed quinoa protein and Pro-vitamin B5 moisturize without leaving any residue. The formulation of this shampoo will assist hair types with fine to medium hair the most. The shampoo lathers well and has a pleasant natural aroma, which I enjoy. The light solution is easy to rinse and does not weigh your hair down. This shampoo appeals to me because it contains aloe vera and other calming elements.

The Product for Natural Hair Care

The Pure Conditioner uses coconut-derived conditioners, jojoba oil, avocado oil, and shea butter to detangle and moisturize hair. Rice extract protects hair from UV rays, while edelweiss extract, an antioxidant, protects hair from free radicals and other environmental contaminants. The conditioner’s thickness is thicker than I expected, and it feels like a hair mask. Despite being a thick conditioner, it leaves your hair feeling light and smooth, as well as wonderfully manageable.

The Ethereal Mist

The Pure Mist moisturizes hair while detangling and controlling flyaways. The fabric is equipped with a multi-layered UV, pollution, and heat protection system. Hair is softened, smoothed, and shined as a result of using this product. When combined with avocado oil, quinoa, and coconut oil in this collection, vitamin B becomes even more potent. When applying the spray, make sure your hair is damp. Shake the bottle to activate it, then spray 8″-12″ from your hair. Spray from the middle to the end for the best results. The spray is refreshing and hydrating. My hair is shiny and tangle-free after using it. It’s light and doesn’t weigh down or make my hair oily.

How many shampoos and conditioners have you tried and said, “Oh yes.” “That’s the good stuff,” you say. When I used the Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner ($27.00 each), I felt precisely like that! This blend is blended with sun-ripened olive oil and is intended to restore radiance to dull hair, and boy did it ever! I’ll admit that there are so many shampoos and conditioners on the market that it’s difficult to decide which is the best, and I can’t even use the same shampoo all the time since I believe that as the seasons change, so do my hair demands. I ascribed my hair’s “tired” and brittle appearance to the weather and the use of heating tools because I don’t color it.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Because the Fekkai Brilliant Glossing products reflected too much light in the bathroom mirror, I was looking for white hair on my head. Seriously, people!! It shines, cleanses well, and leaves my hair feeling silky soft. It’s made with olive oil, which nourishes hair profoundly. Both of these products have a citrus scent that makes my hair feel clean and fresh. I found this to be volumizing as well, and I had no issues with frizz at all. Overall, I’m pleased with the efforts of this group. This may be purchased for CAD 27.99 per at London Drugs.

One Pure Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mist: Final Thoughts

I wasn’t sure if this new range of clean haircare products would work well with my fine hair at first. My hair is straight, and if I don’t use frizz-reduction treatments, it can become puffy and difficult. I didn’t feel the need to use a smoothing hair oil because the products I used were so light on my hair. My hair also looks amazing the next day after washing.
