Feather River Doors Reviews

Feather River Doors Reviews: Feather River was a high-quality company that grew too quickly, went bankrupt, sold its assets, and had a trademark name conflict with Fine Doors a while back. Even as late as 2005, reports of delays in obtaining doors and other essentials appeared. I’m not sure how well-respected or well-known that company’s product is because Home Depot doesn’t appear to have an issue with it.

Feather River Doors have 18 reviews on PissedConsumer as of July 20, 2016, the first of which was written by a customer on July 20, 2016. Feather River Doors is ranked 54 out of 541 in the Windows & Doors category. Customers who are dissatisfied have given the company a 1.6 out of 5-star rating. This company’s most recent suggestions are as follows: “If even the tiniest bit of light passes through a storm door, this door must be avoided;” I wouldn’t recommend Feather River.” “Do not buy anything from Feather River or Trinity Glass International.” This is a fantastic door that I would suggest to anyone.” Please see the following link for more information:

“She’s not here, you got me,” the Feather River person said when I asked to speak with the same Feather River agent as the depot. I described the problem to her. At first, she tried to persuade me. That’s what I told her, explaining that only one side panel shakes when I tap on the glass. She added that the side panels are slimmer. They are, in fact, larger, as I assured her. “Well, it’s not a warranty issue,” she responded as a result. According to the corporate statement, certain panels are “loose” and others are “tight” due to the need for expansion and contraction.

Door’s Color in the Seasonal Sunlight

Our doors began to make popping and cracking noises soon after they were installed. 8/18/21. We noticed that the outside doors were incredibly hot, and the bar between the two doors was so hot that we couldn’t touch it. The noises were normal, according to Feather River, and the tremendous heat was created by the door’s color in the seasonal sunlight. In Florida, there is no such thing as seasonality when it comes to the sun. It’s not acceptable if the door gets so hot that it burns your hand. After months of emailing, they’ve completely disregarded us.

The window sealant is leaking, and the frame around it is deteriorating. It should not be sold to the general public if the seal around the glass on this external door cannot resist the heat of the sun. According to them, the guarantee will cover a replacement window kit but not the labor. I received the kit today, but I have no idea what to do with it. Because they are aware of this, they continue to sell these doors despite the fact that they will cause problems for their clients. Before the new doors were installed, the floors were checked for moisture and confirmed to be absolutely dry. (patchhawaii.org) (We refinished the hardwoods after installing the new door.) So Feather River delivered weatherstripping for the doors that had been installed three and a half months ago last week!

Take a look at the following:

WAKE FOREST, N.C. is a town in the state of North Carolina We finished the installation of new French Doors in May. Due to the heat of the sun, the doors began to warp after two weeks. From the door handle all the way down to the floor, there was a glimmer of light. The astragal strip was similarly devoid of rubber. According to the inspection, the door was distorted and the astragal strip cap was missing. The Feather River study that was submitted to Home Depot made no mention of any of this. He also texted the inspector, saying the floor might not have been completely dry due to the leak caused by the old door. I assumed it was because of the warping.

This Demonstrates Feather River’s Ineptness

Their front door is clearly broken. They’re behaving in a clumsy manner. When Jan and the rest of the personnel give customer service, it’s a farce. They are uninterested in any of your problems. Blank looks are given in response to question after question. Purchasing a door from them is a poor decision since you will get into problems. This is a terrible business. The fact that the weatherstripping was not requested implies that the door was in need of repair.

Feather River has assured us that it is not their concern. There is no assurance of completion, according to them. Despite the fact that I’ve stripped and painted them four times, I’m willing to admit that the painter or painters weren’t performing their job properly, as I told them. After four coats of primer, paint, and a fourth coat of stripping and priming, only the doors are left. When I suggested that the problem could be caused by a chemical reaction, they refused to even look into it.

GEORGIA IS A STATE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

I’ll be the first to say that I cheated and purchased my Feather River Doors from a big box store, Home Depot. Despite their limited options, I was confident in their ability to deliver. The installation of our granite countertops went off without a hitch. Let’s just say it’s been a fascinating ride thus far. We hoped the pantry doors would come in time for Thanksgiving when we purchased them three months ago. Before we did anything further, we had a Home Depot installation come out and take measurements just to be cautious.

Another week of waiting has passed. In the meantime, my pantry goods are strewn across the floor, thanks to my husband’s decision to illuminate the pantry’s inside. After all, how much longer could this possibly continue? The Thanksgiving holiday has come and gone. The 24th of December is already the 24th of December. The doors finally opened.

So I reached out to Feather River Doors on my own

Throughout this issue, we have been really lucky to have had the assistance of the Home Depot employee, who has been extremely helpful. They’ll be filing a claim as a result of this. More time would be spent waiting in line. We’d given up hope, so I reached out to Feather River Doors on my own. On their website, they have a live chat option.

Others who heard my narrative was taken aback and expressed their skepticism. “Please accept my apologies for the mix-up; nonetheless, Home Depot is now accountable. They have 24 hours to alert us if there is a problem.” She hands me a warranty phone number and sends me on my way without saying anything further. Was there a reason I was thinking about this issue with this quote in my head? We had such a lovely time with family and friends. And all for going the “safe” route! Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, Once again, buyer beware. I’ll keep you up to date on the progress of our transaction, which we’ve already paid for.

Following up, a reader pointed out that the hole in the door isn’t suitable for an interior door because they don’t need to be locked and come with a latch on top; all they require are “dummy knobs.” The lock we were advised to purchase does not, as expected, fit this door. Is there any way to rule out the chance that these doors have been used before? Keep a lookout for new information!
