Does Witch Queen Include Season Pass

Does Witch Queen Include Season Pass: Destiny 2: The Witch Queen — Everything you need to know about the game’s release date, trailer, and more! The expansions for Destiny 2 add tonnes of new storey content, loot to earn, enemies to fight, gameplay systems to interact with, and more to the game. As a result, Destiny 2 maintains its position as one of the best Xbox shooters available.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light, for example, added the icy world of Europa, Darkness-powered Stasis subclasses, the Deep Stone Crypt raid, and a plethora of new weapons, armors, and Exotics to hunt down. Bungie officially announced that Destiny 2: The Witch Queen would be released on February 22, 2022, on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, PS5, PS4, Google Stadia, and Windows PC, prior to the start of Gamescom 2021. Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is available for preorder in four different editions, each with different amounts of content and different prices:

The main DLC is included in the $60 Standard Edition of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. The Witch Queen Deluxe Edition costs $80 and includes the main DLC as well as Year 5 content such as an Exotic SMG, a Throne World Exotic Sparrow, two new endgame dungeons, and Season Passes for each of the game’s five seasons.

The Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Deluxe Edition 30th Anniversary Bundle costs $100 and includes: everything from previous editions as well as a new exclusive dungeon that will be available in December, the Gjallarhorn Exotic rocket launcher, and new cosmetics inspired by previous Bungie franchises such as Halo and Marathon.

The Witch Queen Collector’s Edition costs $250 and includes all of the content found in the other editions, as well as physical collectibles such as a Hidden psychic investigation kit, Hidden keycard, Hive Ghost replica, lore booklet, and more.

Trailers for Destiny 2: The Witch Queen

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen currently has three trailers available: a reveal trailer, a gameplay trailer, and a teaser trailer that debuted at The Game Awards 2021. The main plot of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen pits players against Savathûn, the Witch Queen and sister of Oryx, the Taken King, whom they met and defeated in the first Destiny game.

Savathûn is known for her ability to manipulate, deceive, and lie her way to victory, and she (along with her Hive followers, the Lucent Brood) will use the Traveler’s Light against Guardians in the expansion. This is the first time in Destiny history that anybody other than the Guardians has been able to use the Light, and it raises a lot of questions regarding how Savathûn and her followers were able to get it. Many fans believe she stole it from the Traveler, while others believe the Traveler chose to give it to her for an as-yet-unknown reason. As we work to stop Savathûn and her forces, it’s likely that the Witch Queen’s campaign will address these concerns.

Many major characters from Destiny 2 Year 4, including as Ikora Rey, Zavala, Osiris, Saint-14, Crow, the House of Light Kell Mithraax, the Cabal Empress Caiatl, and Mara Sov, are likely to appear in the campaign. Based on what Bungie has revealed so far about Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, this DLC appears to be much more impactful and content-rich than Beyond Light. Here’s everything we know about The Witch Queen so far, including when it’ll be released, what the storey and campaign will be like, what new features will be included, and more.

Unable to unlock the Season Pass for Destiny 2:

Some PlayStation players are unable to unlock the Season Pass for Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. The Witch Queen, the most recent expansion for Destiny 2, is now available. The Witch Queen, which is out today, introduces the Season of the Risen, raises the Power Floor to 1350, adds Void 3.0, and pits Guardians against their most powerful foe yet, Savathun.

After last year’s Season of the Lost, which was the longest Destiny 2 season yet, players have been eager to get into the new Season and new content. However, there was a minor snag with The Witch Queen’s launch. Unfortunately, certain PlayStation gamers are unable to unlock the Season Pass for Season of the Risen due to an undisclosed problem. This is happening on both PS4 and PS5, and there is currently no way to solve it.

Unlock the Season Pass for Destiny 2: Risen.

Bungie sent me a code for The Witch Queen Deluxe Edition, and I can confirm that I am unable to access the limited stuff on the Season Pass rewards track’s lower half. The Deluxe Edition contains the following items:

Unlocks instantly:

  • Catalyst, Exotic SMG, and Ornament
  • Exotic Sparrow from Throne World
  • Ghost Shell from the Throne World
  • Exotic emote by Enigma
  • Emblem of legend
  • Seasons 16 (Season of the Risen), 17, 18, and 19 are all available.
  • Year 5 will see the release of two new dungeons.

According to a Bungie spokesperson, the problem is widespread and affects players throughout the PlayStation network. This includes players that bought the Season Pass from the PlayStation Store directly. ungie and PlayStation are both working on a solution and should have an update for players soon.

Release date for Destiny 2: The Witch Queen

Individual season pass purchases will not unlock the three-man activity unless users purchase the Deluxe Editions of Destiny 2. Fans of Destiny 2 who are excited to check out The Witch Queen, which is set to release on February 22nd, will be unhappy to learn that dungeons, one of the most difficult activities in the looter shooter, will be locked behind an extra paywall when the expansion launches.

Dungeons are mini-raids that work in the same way as the main six-man activity, with puzzle elements and tough action sequences that three-man fireteams must overcome with intense cooperation. Since Bungie’s split with Activision, the business model has allowed players to walk into Destiny 2’s free-to-play version every season and find new activities to complete, with some premium activities only available to season pass holders.

The Witch Queen dungeons will be an additional expense. The developers stated in a Reddit post shared by Cozmo, Bungie’s community manager, that upcoming dungeons following The Witch Queen will only be available to those who purchased the Deluxe Edition of the expansion, and that season passes will no longer unlock them. Destiny 2 fans were understandably upset by the revelation, with hundreds of people downvoting Cozmo’s comment. However, Cozmo indicated that the dungeons will be available “in the future” without the requirement to fully upgrade to the Deluxe Edition.

Cozmo remarked, “We will give more information on this closer to when the content is expected to be live.” Before we get to The Witch Queen, Destiny 2 players will be able to visit a brand-new dungeon during Season of the Lost’s 30th Anniversary event. This pack appears to be a preview of what future dungeon releases might look like, as it includes the aforementioned three-man activity, as well as exclusive decorations, emotes, and an exotic ship to go along with it.
