Everyone was startled to learn that Dame Deborah was traveling to the Royal Ascot to sip as many cocktails as she could before she passed away. James used her platform on social media as Bowelbabe to talk movingly about their own health issues in addition to her co-hosts Lauren Mahon, who is now cancer-free, Rachael Bland, who passed away from cancer in September 2018, and Rachael’s widow Steve.
