The project was first teased during the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother on the eye network on Wednesday. Beyond the Edge, which airs on CBS on March 16 at 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT, will put the stars through their paces like never before.

There will be no judges or eliminations, so each contender must rely only on his or her own strength and courage to go through the competition. Lauren Alaina is a singer-songwriter: The songs “If the World Were a Small Town,” “Like My Mother Does,” and “Getting Over Him” made Lauren Alaina a household name in the country music industry. After she finished second on the 10th season of American Idol, she was invited to join the Grand Ole Opry by Trisha Yearwood in December 2021. Lauren is competing for The Next Door, a Nashville, Tenn.-based organization that provides a safe haven for women recovering from substance abuse. MVP of the Super Bowl, Ray Lewis Ray Lewis was a Baltimore Ravens linebacker in the 1980s. He retired from the NFL in 2013 after 17 years in the league. He’s now fighting in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Professional Fighters League, where he’s putting his football skills to use in the ring (PFL). The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center will be Ray’s opponent.

Retiring, he has been a vocal champion for understanding mental health issues, particularly among professional sports players. Artest University, an organization that develops health initiatives for young athletes, is the charity for which he will be participating.
Paulina Porizkova (author): Paulina Porizkova, a former supermodel turned actress and author, has dedicated the last few years of her life to battling ageism in the modeling world. During her spare time, she may be found in Beyond the Edge, where she takes on the outdoors while facing huge industry changes! She’s competing for the ACLU, which is a non-profit organization.
As of this writing, Mike Singletary is still employed with the company: Singletary was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1995 as a former professional football player and current football coach. In 1985 and 1988, the Associated Press named him NFL Defensive Player of the Year. He’ll be participating in a charity called Changing Our Perspective in Beyond the Edge.
