The Mobile community is mourning the tragic loss of 21-year-old Bess Margaret Adams, who passed away following a single-vehicle crash on Dawes Road late Wednesday night.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that the accident occurred at approximately 11:47 p.m., approximately four miles south of Mobile city limits in Mobile County.
Bess M. Adams was behind the wheel of a 2020 Nissan Kicks when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned. ALEA confirmed that Adams, unfortunately, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.
Despite being transported to University Hospital in Mobile, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased.
