Becca Ultimate Lipstick Love Review

Becca Ultimate Lipstick Love Review: The Becca x Khloe Kardashian & Malika Haqq Collection includes four colors of the Becca Ultimate Lipstick Love ($24). As a major admirer of Becca’s Ultimate Lipstick Love, I’m overjoyed to learn that the line has been expanded to 30 colors. I’ve been using the Becca x Khloe Kardashian Ultimate Lipstick Love every day since I bought it. This polish’s color and formula are both fantastic! Look no further if you’re looking for a moisturizing and creamy lipstick.

Becca Ultimate Lipstick Love is valued at $200.00 per ounce and is available for $24.00. In total, our system has 44 distinct colors stored. Navigate to a specific section to find what you’re looking for! The swatches below show the color, undertone, finish, and availability. Many colors have been swatched and tested, but if you’re looking for anything specific, utilize the drop-down option above. The recipe’s touted benefits include an “ultra-creamy” texture, “eight-hour wear,” and “pure color in one swipe.” If you don’t need long-lasting coverage, the “eight-hour wear” claim may not be as important as it is for those who want a softer, creamier consistency that is easier to apply and more comfortable to wear.

BECCA has long been known for its “BECCA Glow” face/base products, and most people are familiar with their creamy Shimmering Skin Perfectors. The richer, darker colors (such as deep crimson or berry) could last up to eight hours. They felt hydrated while wearing them, yet they weren’t heavy or oily. The majority of the shades were almost opaque to opaque, and they applied evenly without emphasizing my natural lip texture or settling into my lip lines. They smelled like vanilla but didn’t taste like it. On the BECCA trip, however, I got the opportunity to try out their foundations and concealers, only to learn that they only possessed lip glosses. In both liquid and powder form, opal is my absolute favorite.

BECCA’s lip products arrived, Not Disappointed

Because I’m not a big fan of gloss, I’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time. In keeping with BECCA’s characteristic aesthetic, the new “glow” lipsticks feature a healthy sheen that isn’t overly shiny or sticky. Despite the fact that red and neutral lipsticks are the most popular, BECCA has created 30 shades so that everyone may find their ideal shade! You may not be aware, but I’ve been publishing lip swatches on my blog for the past few years since my own lips are darker and more pigmented than most people’s, and I like to show individuals with comparable complexions and lip tones what different shades might look like on them.

Of course, everyone has the freedom to wear whatever they want, but if you have darker lips like me, some nudes will look ashy or pastel on you, which I don’t enjoy. I was ecstatic to be approached for my first ever sponsored blog post (after 8+ years!) because this line is so similar to what I already do. Based on my DMs and reactions on various social media sites, I’m not surprised to see traditional bullet-shaped lipsticks make a comeback after the recent liquid lipstick trend. Even while I still love my transfer-proof liquid lipsticks, I recently repurchased some of my old favorite bullet lipsticks (Mehr in particular!) so I don’t have to worry about them transferring to him.

  • Chocolate, Burgundy, Mocha, Taupe, Tawny, and Dune are neutral shades.
  • Souffle, Mauve, Orchid, Sorbet, Petal, Sugar are all cool nudes.
  • Rosewood, Truffle, Blush, Dusk, Tulip, Bare Nude
  • Maroon, Merlot, Ruby, Garnet, Cherry, and Blaze are examples of cool/neutral reds.
  • Ember, Rouge, Scarlet, Crimson, Flame, and Poppy are warm/neutral reds.

I don’t have all 30 shades, but I’ve swatched them all on my arm, and below are lip samples of some of the shades I think will be the most popular! My personal favorite nudes are Mocha and Mauve, which have a great blend of brown and pink tones. Truffle is the lightest shade that matches my skin and lips, while Rosewood is a brighter rose shade that looks great on darker skin tones.

It’s the best Lip Gloss

Let’s take a look at Becca Cosmetics’ first lip liner collection. If you’re looking for a product that promises to flawlessly define your lips while staying there for eight hours, go no further than Ultimate Lip Definer. For added convenience and comfort, this waterproof formula is infected with jojoba oil. This lip liner’s packaging is one of my favorite features because it matches the color of the product inside, which is precisely what I adore about it. It’s 0.35g/0.012 Oz. of product that you get here, which is a bit more than the brands’ Sephora counterparts. Instead of a lip brush, each pencil includes a “pout-perfecting precision tool” incorporated into the cap.

The BECCA logo is embossed on the exquisite golden container’s lid. As it slowly slides down, the magnetic lid closes with a satisfying clicky noise. The Ultimate Lipstick Love colors include nude and red tints, as stated above, and there are 30 of them divided into four categories: Ember (from the warm reds group) and Ruby (from the cool reds group) are two of my favorite reds (the cool reds). I usually favor cool/blue-toned reds since I find them more appealing and they also help my teeth look whiter than warmer reds, which can make my teeth look yellow.

Pigmentation:

Pure color pigments and light-reflecting oils are used in these Ultimate Lipstick Loves, which have an 8-hour wear time. On my naturally pigmented lips, the color payoff is just enough to conceal the darker areas of my lips, but not too pigmented/creamy that it appears overdone.

Formula:

If you don’t like uncomfortable or drying lipsticks, you won’t have to worry about these BECCA Ultimate Lipstick Loves because they’re made with these key ingredients: Hyaluronic acid hydrates and smoothes the appearance of the lips. nourishing avocado + olive oils

Finish & Price:

The lipsticks have a moisture-rich finish, which means they aren’t matte but rather have a balmy/healthy sheen. When I wear them alone, my lips appear natural, plump, and healthy – but they’re not plumping in any manner – it’s exactly how I’d describe them! £20 each, available exclusively at John Lewis from June 7th.

Overall impressions:

I was actually surprised that these are just £20 because the gold packaging makes them look/feel more luxurious, and the formula reminds me of another (more expensive) luxury brand lipstick that I generally keep on hand to top up/help when a liquid lipstick dries up over the day.

I think hydrating/balmy lipsticks like this help bring life back to liquid lipsticks that dry out more as the day goes on, and I like to wear them without lip liner when I just want a quick splash of color on my lips without fussing with perfection (i.e. school run) (i.e. school run). It’s not as transfer-proof as you’d think from a non-matte lipstick, but it does last a long time if you don’t have a baby or child touching your face!

What are your thoughts on this latest BECCA Cosmetics addition?

Personally, I’m all for creating a universally loved red or nude shade, but I also think they’d be great for topping up on drying matte lipsticks throughout the day. Keep an eye out on my Instagram for a giveaway of the entire collection of 30 lipsticks!
