Kohl’s Corp. in Menomonee Falls announced on Tuesday that comparable sales were down 13.3 percent in the third quarter of fiscal 2020, resulting in a net loss of $12 million. At $3.97 million, total sales were down 14% from the same period the previous year. Despite a slow start to the school year, the company claimed “significant improvement” in overall sales and earnings compared to the previous quarter, which saw a 22.9 percent reduction in comparable sales and a $47 million net loss.
