Tuffypacks Review

Tuffypacks Review: This bulletproof IIIA shield insert is 12″ x 18″ and is suitable for both adult daypacks and school backpacks. This implant, which may stop multiple bullets, provides ballistic protection from pistol fire. TuffyPack’s soft armor inserts are Ultra-lightweight and will keep you and your loved ones safe wherever you go. This insert is comprised of many layers of ballistic PE fabric, a high performance-to-weight ratio material like Kevlar, to meet Level IIIA criteria.

Body armor that gives the maximum level of protection can already be concealed by placing ballistic shields into backpacks, briefcases, or computer bags. This insert is a wonderful solution for ensuring your safety and security, even if you are never presented with a situation needing ballistic protection.

The following is a list of the product’s features and specifications:

  • An artwork measuring twelve by eighteen inches.
  • It’s only 27 ounces in weight.
  • It can hold larger school bags as well as adult backpacks.
  • Protection in a lightweight ballistic PE fabric that is easy to carry.
  • Multiple layers of polyethylene shield you from the elements (PE)
  • It also protects against items that are pierced or stabbed.
  • Tested at Level IIIA in a laboratory
  • UV-Resistant UV-Resistant Nylon Fabric
  • When removed, it’s simple to clean and store.
  • The Bulletproof Backpack Company’s products no longer feature Disney, Marvel, or Harry Potter characters.

It was a breach of Disney’s intellectual property rights to use its characters without consent. Disney made a statement declaring that using Disney characters to “promote sales of their stuff” was not acceptable and should be avoided. TuffyPacks, a Houston-based backpack company, has already removed its themed products from its website.

TuffyPacks advertising backpack inserts for $129

A TuffyPacks spokesman told TheWrap that the themed products would be removed while the company reconsidered its options. TuffyPacks was advertising backpack inserts for $129 that protect you from numerous rounds of handgun fire. They were designed to fit school backpacks and smaller day packs. Disney princesses, Marvel superheroes, and Harry Potter figures were among the designs. “These are not authentic ‘Harry Potter’ products,” a Warner Bros. spokesman said. “They are not licensed by Warner Bros. in any other manner sponsored, directly or indirectly.”

According to a Disney spokeswoman, none of these products were approved by the corporation, and the persons behind them are being urged to stop using Disney characters or other intellectual property to promote their products’ sales. TuffyPack’s creator and CEO, Steve Naremore, told the outlet that the company never requested Disney for help, but that sales had increased by 300 to 500 percent in the aftermath of a mass shooting. “This product is not affiliated with the original copyright owner,” says the website’s disclaimer. The new designs were released about a month ago, just around the time of two terrible mass shootings in Texas and Ohio.

The New York Times reported in February 2019 that demand for these bulletproof backpacks had increased following the incident in Parkland, Florida. Ardmore, another company, launched bulletproof backpacks earlier this year that can be stretched to cover larger areas. Another firm, Guard Dog Security, began creating bulletproof backpacks after the Sandy Hook shooting.

WHY SHOULD YOU CONSIDER US FOR A POSSIBLE RELATIONSHIP?

Active shooter situations necessitate police-grade ballistic protection. Comparable unprotected backpacks are only 17–24 ounces heavier than our ballistic-protected backpacks (based on the pack size). In low- or non-threat circumstances, removable ballistic shields are available. All of our panels are constructed from multiple layers of ballistic PE, a synthetic fiber similar to Kevlar® that is widely used in the construction of body armor, helmets, and ballistic vests around the world.

“BUSINESS MODEL,” or “BUSINESS STRATEGY,”

The gross profit margins are extremely high: The production of our most popular 12×16″ ballistic panel costs between $21.00 and $25.00. Despite its retail price of $189.00, this item’s “street price” is $139.00. Our direct-to-consumer sales generate a profit margin of more than 300 percent, while our reseller channel (dealer/distributor sales) generates a profit margin of more than 100 percent.

Since 2017, parents have purchased an average of 1.6 items per order, putting us average unit sales at $201.00 to $254.00 per order. According to the most recent US Census, there are between 1.7 and 2.1 children per household in the United States. We serve customers in the United States and the European Union through two distributors. Before being released to the public, it was painstakingly produced and put through its paces in the lab. Because most resellers lack the ability to import and deal directly with producers, products like ours have a fractured market.

Our success to date has been largely due to the fact that we develop our items from “concept to finish.” As a result, when purchasing any of our ballistic items, TuffyPacks does not have to deal with a domestic importer or distributor. All of our goods have been lab-tested and shown to meet or exceed the National Institute of Justice’s guidelines for optimal safety and protection.

A PERSPECTIVE FROM AN OBJECTIVE POINT OF VIEW

Sales have been steadily increasing as a result of well-targeted strategic marketing. As more individuals get aware of our brand and product category, sales are likely to increase. As school shootings continue to occur on a daily basis, more mainstream retailers are responding to parents’ desire to arm their children with life-saving and defensive choices.

Extensive experience and a genuine desire to assist others

As a co-founder of an investment banking firm, Steve Naremore, the company’s founder and CEO, has over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions. For the past 10 years, Mr. Naremore has owned and operated a soft goods manufacturing company that specializes in drones and electric skateboards, as well as inventing new products.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF INVESTING?

TuffyPacks ballistic inserts, for example, are becoming increasingly popular as personal defense goods. We’re a “pure-play” investment in the rapidly rising personal security market. Tuffy Packs intends to release numerous new ballistic products within the coming year. Demand for guns is increasing as gun violence in schools and workplaces increases. Please provide your response in the most basic manner possible. Thanks to television commercials, millions of worried parents will be exposed to the product.

Tuffy Packs was founded after Mr. Naremore’s daughter, a 4th-grade teacher, and dad discussed the escalating school gun violence and the inability of officials to stop it. We built a well-designed range of fitted inserts that can be utilized to turn any backpack into a defensive item by recreating what police officers wear on a daily basis. Due to a lack of resources and training, adolescents with mental health concerns are left unsupervised in our classrooms. The pointless bloodshed will continue to be perpetuated due to a lack of coordination between the mental health and law enforcement communities.

Tuffy Packs, Inc. provides global defense solutions to tackle the ever-increasing challenge of active shooter situations. Our lightweight, replaceable ballistic inserts are available in a variety of sizes and are designed to fit 95 percent of backpacks and laptop cases currently on the market. A regular bag can be instantly turned into a ballistic shield when confronted with an active shooter by simply attaching the same ballistic fabric used in police jackets.
