Nystatin and Triamcinolone acetonide is an antifungal drug combination with a synthetic corticosteroid used in cream to treat infections of fungal skin and to minimise infection inflammation and itching.
The skin cream and ointments are made in general form with nystatine and triamcinolone.
How to use Triamcinolone-Nystatin Cream This drug is only intended for use on the skin. Before using, wash and dry your face. The affected area should be washed and dried. A small amount of medicine should be added to a thin layer and gently rubbed, usually twice a day or as instructed by your doctor.
Wash your hands after use, except when the hands are handled with this product.
Do not mask, bandage or wrap the area treated unless your doctor orders you to do so. Don’t take tight-fitting diapers or plastic pants if you use this drug on a child’s painting floor.
