Kamaru Usman Dad: Kamaru “The Nigerian Nightmare” Usman is now the UFC welterweight champion without experiencing a single loss in the competition. Kamaru Usman is already a worldwide celebrity at 33 after a 5-year career in the UFC so far and boasts a tremendous fan base all over the globe. However, not everyone is aware of the fact that Kamaru Usman also enjoys a fan following at the Federal Correctional Institution in Seagoville, Texas. As per the findings of ESPN, every time Kamaru Usman has battled in the UFC, the Federal Correctional convicts have applauded him.

If you question why there’s usually a reason behind it. UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman’s father Muhammed Usman had spent 10 years inside the jail in Texas on the criminal charges of forgery. Usman, 33, had yet to become a worldwide star when his father was imprisoned in 2009. Although his father has been freed recently, the prisoners at the Federal Correctional Institution of Texas continued to clap for ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ every time he comes inside the cage.
