Is Sunday Brunch On Today: With ‘Sunday Brunch,’ presenters Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer combine a cooking show with a talk show to create a unique hybrid. Each episode begins with Simon and Tim preparing a meal in the kitchen, joined by the celebrity guests for that particular week.
Other segments include interviews and highlights from television and film, a guest who assists with drink tasting, a round-up of what’s hot in fashion, and the ever-popular ‘Sunday Brunch Playlist,’ which is a collection of music videos chosen by the presenters and their guests to play during the broadcast. Stacey Solomon, Lisa Faulkner, Tara Reid, Rufus Wainwright, and Marina Diamandis were among the celebrities that attended.
The program officially commenced on March 25, 2012. It was first announced by Channel 4 in February 2012, following the cancellation of the BBC program Something for the Weekend, which had been running for seven years due to budget cuts. There are two exceptions to this: Louise Redknapp and Amanda Hamilton. The rest of the presenting team is the same as the BBC show.
The show airs live for three hours, including commercials, which is 90 minutes longer than the final episode of Something for the Weekend, which aired on the same day. In the beginning, it was broadcast for two hours (including ads) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, but on May 19, 2013, it was extended to three hours (from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm). Originally, it was broadcast for two hours (including advertisements) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus in the United Kingdom on March 22, 2020, the show was not broadcast. Instead, Channel 4 broadcasted episodes of Food Unwrapped, Come to Dine with Me, and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares USA, among other shows.
Sunday Brunch with Lovejoy and Rimmer was a spin-off of the popular Sunday Brunch show hosted by the duo. Every weekday morning for 60 minutes, it was carried live on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. The structure of Daily Brunch was similar to that of Sunday Brunch, including cooking demonstrations and interviews with famous guests.
According to a press release issued on September 29, 2014, Rimmer and Lovejoy would be hosting a new spin-off series from Sunday Brunch. The show premiered on October 13, 2014, and ran for 40 episodes, airing daily at 10 a.m.
