Gohenry Reviews: Gohenry is a brand of heavy-duty cleaning wipes with a citrus base. Tim Stanbury and Erin Whalen, business partners and cyclists, founded their company during the first season of Shark Tank in 2010. Instead of a 40% stake, they accepted a $40,000 joint bid from Barbara Corcoran and Robert Herjavec. Shark Tank was a challenge for Grease Monkey Wipes. The owners, Erin Wallen, and Tim Stansbury had difficulty selling the project for a variety of reasons. The product sold well in the stores where it was displayed, but the profit margin was low. Shark Tank investors expressed concern about the company’s low return rate.
Overall, the best part of using GoHenry was that it taught Flea that blowing your allowance in 5 minutes on Amazon isn’t a good idea. The ability to set rules and boundaries provides some security for younger children.
I wouldn’t say my child has realized that it is easier to save money and invest in things she really desires in the future. But it’s possible that she did. I have to be truthful and admit that I will only use GoHenry for a limited time before my children reach the age of 11, after which I would switch to a standard bank card.
