Edinburgh Tattoo 2021: The Edinburgh Military Tattoo has been postponed until 2022, and all ticket holders will be given the option of transferring their tickets to the 2022 event or receiving a full refund. The dates for the year 2022 have been moved to the 5th – 27th of August in that year.
The spectacular show has been postponed for the second year in a row because of the ongoing Covid epidemic, which has caused widespread concern.
All clients have received an email describing their options, which they can review at their leisure. Customers who do not choose to migrate their accounts to 2022 will receive a refund automatically.
It is anticipated that the refund will be executed by the 30th of June 2021. If you paid for your tickets with a credit card, the value of your tickets – including the booking charge – will be refunded to the credit card used to make the purchase. If you purchased with a credit or debit card but have since realized that your information has changed, please contact the booking office at [email protected] The dates for 2022 are the 5th of August to the 27th of August.
“We would want to express our gratitude to all of our ticket holders, friends, and stakeholders for their patience over the past year while we negotiated the uncertainties of the Pandemic,” said the Edinburgh Tattoo.
I’ve had a very difficult time making this decision. Our staff, artists, suppliers, and guests understand that this decision has far-reaching consequences, but we must act responsibly and in the best long-term interests of everyone involved in this decision. Tickets for the 2021 season will be fully reimbursed; however, for those who prefer to attend the next year, tickets can be moved to the 2022 season.
The Edinburgh Military Tattoo is essentially an evening of live military performances from Regiments and Military bands, which include massed pipes and drums, dancers, performers, singers, military displays, special lighting effects, and the Lone Piper. The Tattoo is held every year in August in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Every year, military bands and display teams from all over the world come together to execute military tattoos on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle. The tattoos are performed by members of the British Armed Forces, Commonwealth and international military bands, and display teams. It takes place during the month of August every year, and it corresponds with the Fringe Festival and the International Festival of Theatre.
In fact, it is a must-do when you are in Edinburgh, and it truly is an unforgettable adventure and experience. Dress appropriately for the outdoors, as the seating on the esplanade is exposed to the elements.
It’s that time of year again; the Edinburgh festival has returned after a year’s absence in 2020, bringing thousands of performers to the Scottish city to showcase their talents.
The festival is well-known across the world, and the city’s population more than doubles during the month of August as a result of the event. Of course, because it is being run on a much smaller scale this year, it appears to be slightly different.
While festival-goers rejoiced in the festival’s return, many of the beloved aspects of the festival will be absent this time around. Edinburgh Castle hosts one of the most popular events throughout the festival, the Military Tattoo, which takes place every evening of the festival and culminates in a spectacular fireworks display.
