David Amess Daughter: Originally from Basildon, Amess is the second oldest of five children born to Sir David Amess and his wife Julia Arnold. She now resides in Los Angeles with her husband, who is also from Basildon. On October 15, Conservative UK MP Sir David Amess was fatally stabbed in the chest at the Belfairs Methodist Church, where he was doing his monthly constituency surgery (meeting with constituents). After running inside the church building with a knife about midday, the 69-year old Amess was stabbed several times by the 25-year old assailant.

According to the Daily Mail, emergency personnel was contacted around 12:05 p.m. to respond to the situation. Paramedics arrived at the church in Eastwood Road North, Essex, and attempted to revive Sir David Amess for about an hour after arriving. The paramedic estimated that he died about 3 p.m.

The Essex native attended St Anne Line Primary School before transferring to Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School and subsequently St Bernard’s High School in Westcliff-on-Sea, where she graduated in 2007.

Amess had his formal training in theatre at the Queen Mary University of London and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, among other institutions.
